How do I know if my battery is fully charged?

Most rechargeable Ledlenser models include:

• A battery status indicator LED, or

• A charge level display, or

• A flashing signal while charging

Refer to your model’s Quick User Guide for exact charge indicator behaviour.

My Ledlenser only flashes or flickers 2–4 times but does not turn on. Is it defective?

In most cases, your light is not defective.

Many Ledlenser models feature a Transportation Lock to prevent accidental activation inside a backpack, suitcase, or storage case.

If your light flashes or flickers when you try to turn it on, this usually indicates that the transport lock is activated.

How to deactivate the Transportation Lock:

Press and hold the power switch for several seconds.

Depending on the model, this may take between 5 and 19 seconds.

The time required to deactivate is often shorter than the activation time, though on some models it may be the same.

You can find model-specific instructions in your Quick User Guide (QUG), where this function is shown with lock symbols.

Where can I find the serial number to register my Ledlenser product for warranty?

The serial number is a 10-digit number sequence printed directly on your Ledlenser product, usually located next to the model name.

Example: 21110373246

On some headlamps, the serial number may be located on the back of the lamp head rather than near the model name.

You will need this number when registering your product for extended warranty.

How do I activate the extended warranty?

To activate your extended warranty:

  1. Register your product on the official Ledlenser website - Register Here
  2. Complete registration within the required timeframe (usually within 12 weeks of purchase).
  3. Keep your proof of purchase.

Without registration, the standard statutory warranty applies.

Can I use regular batteries instead of rechargeable batteries?

Some Ledlenser models support Dual Power Source, meaning you can use both rechargeable batteries and disposable batteries (such as AA).

However, not all models support this feature. Always check your product specifications before using alternative battery types.

Using incorrect battery types may damage the product.

My magnetic charging cable won’t connect properly. What should I check?

• Ensure the charging contacts are clean and free from dust or debris.

• Check that the cable aligns correctly with the magnetic charging port.

• Confirm that your power source (USB adapter or port) is working properly.

If the issue persists, the cable may need replacement.

Is my Ledlenser waterproof?

Water resistance depends on the model.

Look for the IP rating on your product:

• IP56 – Protected against dust and powerful water jets

• IP67 – Protected against temporary immersion

• IP68 – Suitable for continuous immersion under specified conditions

Always check your specific model’s rating before submerging.
